09/15 September CTMH Cricut Challenge Blog Hop

If you have been hopping with everyone, then you have arrived from Chris's blog Wow.. we are on a roll.... one hop after another - can you keep up?!!! Today's challenge is to use the new Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and I have a new design for everyone! Here is my design that I created in the Cricut Craft Room - I love this software - it is soo easy to create a welded design and I have created a fall open box for my project using this online software.

Notice how easily I welded the designs together and changed the colors to match our RGB number codes to depict the colors of CTMH Brown bag and Goldrush. All of these designs are using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge - what a plethora of ideas from ONE cartridge!

Here is the actual design after I cut it out with my Cricut Expression. I also used my Cuttlebug embossing folders and ink to add dimension to the design.

I hope you enjoy this design - this is a huge learning curve and I am slowly getting ahead of the curve! So please ENJOY!! Now it is time to hop on over to Tamytha's blog and check out her fantastic artwork for this blog hop!

Thanks for stopping by!

10/17 Halloween Gift Cards

For my 'little' kids... BOO-hoo................... - not so little anymore but they still get their Halloween Goodie Bag (it's actually a box) from their "mummy" and dad, too!

This is an easy gift card to make! Cut a 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2 " card and score one end at 2" and the other end at 2 1/2". Fold and cut out the half circle with our 1 1/4" circle punch (Z1311). Add eyelets, brads or colored staples to secure the bottom half of the card. Decorate it and add the gift card. Viola!

Supplies:
Z1311 CTMH 1 1/4" circle punch
Basic Black cardstock
"Retired" eyelets from CTMH ( I never get rid of anything!)
Rub - on and paper (Target Dollar Spot)
Mummy from Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut cartridge
#3174 Blending pen and #3505 Watercolor pencils

Enjoy!

Spring is in the Air!

The last few weeks have seemed cold and dreary to me - not Buffalo, NY weather but Tampa, FL weather! I decided to boost my spirits and participate in a Spring swap with a Cricut group. I designed the title for the page using the Cricut Design Studio Software using a great tutorial from "Susan Robot". You can view the link here

The flowers are from our spring garden from last year and the layout is "Creative Rhythm" from the Cherish book. I used the Discovery papers - perfect for the colors in the photos. Enjoy!
