Happy Tax Day - I guess......

Welcome to this month's CTMH Product Spotlight Blog - we are featuring artwork from the new CTMH 2010 Spring collection of papers. There are 15 CTMH consultants participating in this blog hop so if you want to start at the beginning My favorite is "You Rock" - so you have already seen a few of my projects featuring this paper. If you are hoppin' with us you have arrived from Helen's blog where she is always an inspiration to me!

I love our Level 1 as they are sooo quick and easy. It includes 4 - 12 x 12" preprinted color blocked pages, 2 - 12 x 12" B & T papers, 2- 12 x 12" cardstock sheets and 2 - 6 x 12" My Sickease sheets, including a matching alphabet.




This 2 page went together in about 30 minutes - I was thrilled since I had these photos sitting on my desk since Thanksgiving!

02/15/10 CTMH Product Highlight You Rock Baby!

Welcome to February's CTMH Product Highlight event. The stamp set we are featuring this month is - D1346 You Rock. This is the perfect stamp set for the "rockband" family members in your life! If you are hoppin' along with the rest of us, then you have arrived from Carol's blog and checked out her awesome "You Rock" artwork!


All of the Brill boys (and me) are huge Beatles fans - so it only makes sense that my boys have Beatles RockBand! So here is my first born, Kevin playing 'Helter Skelter". While Kevin plays, I take pictures (as always) and I will add this page to his scrapbook

01/12/10 CTMH New Product Blog Hop

Happy New Year!!

Welcome to our Close to My Heart New Product Blog Hop! 17 Fabulous
Close to My Heart Consultants are celebrating the recent release of the Spring 2010 Idea Book by showing you some of our creations with the wonderful new products from Close to my Heart!

Even it is cold outside, blog hopping is a warm wonderful experience and you will burn sooo many calories! You should have arrived from Helen's website and checked out her awesome project!


Now it is time to check out my "Totally Awesome" card as well. This card is a 4" Easel card and you can make it any size you wish. (I'll explain later)! The X7122 You Rock paper pack is my favorite in the Spring Idea Book.



I created this card with this paper pack and I know my husband and sons will love it!

Here are a few photo steps to help you create your own version:

Step #1 - Cut and score your cardstock


Step #2 - Cut the remaining B & T paper and cardstock


Step #3- Stamp designs onto the B & T paper.


Step #5 - Glue on front tag and wrap ribbon around the 4" square. Using Liquid Glass, glue button in the center of the bottom card (4" square = 2" center)




Now it is your turn to create your version of the Easel Card. To change sizes, just follow the simple formula i.e. 5 x 10" base, score at 2.5 and 5"; 5 " square card front - reduce each piece by 1/4" AND glue button in the center of the base i.e. 2.5" "Easy Peasy"!!
