Close to My Heart SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome December!  Where in the world did this year go?  This month over 60 consultants are hopping along in this blog hop and I hope you are getting many inspiring ideas from everyone.  If you have been hopping along, then you have come from Pamela O'Connor's blog and have seen her gorgeous frame!

I have been listening to Christmas music on Pandora - LOVE it!! It seems so festive even when it is 80 degrees here in Florida!  So when I took a look at this set all I can think of holidays ( funny,  isn't it?).... so I started creating my holiday tags for each month of the year.  Here is a close-up of the set...

So I would love to know what you see when you look at this set!  Leave me a comment and you may be the winner of a BRAND new S1212 Year-Round Cheer!!  Now how about that for a 'surprise Christmas present!!!"?  The last day to leave a comment is December 15th!

So what do my tags look like??  I started with January and February - ok- I reversed them in my photo - (switch them in your brain... :)  I just love how these 3-D tags turned out!  How about you?
More of my tags will be coming soon.....How would like some of these Cricut Craft Room files?  Send me an email and I will be happy to send you the files!  My email is   Do you need a tutorial to create these yourself?  If so, leave me a comment and I will post them!

The supplies for these two tags are"
Cardstock - Blush and sky, white daisy and black
S1212 - Year-Round Cheer stamp set

Now it is off to Pamela Ellison's blog to get inspired by her Event calendar toppers! What a fun hop this is - tons of great ideas from all of these wonderful consultants...such a wonderful diversion from all of the 'hustle and bustle' of the holidays!

Christmas is on its way!!

Yes I know that Thursday is Thanksgiving but I am bombarded with Black Friday ads every time I open an email! Help!!! So I gave in and started thinking Christmas and I tune in every Sunday night to Klo's FAB-u-lous classes with the Pazzles and this week I actually cut something out!  BE...cause my NEW mats and blade arrived the other day and so I was ready!

This week's lesson was Christmas tree tags or cards and so I made one of each!  When I was growing up my name was NEVER on a pencil or a mug or anything....lots of  'Sandy' or 'Sue' but never ADELINE!  But now that I have my Pazzles I can cut my name out of absolutely everything and even make it sparkle and shine!

So if you have an unusual name  you can recreate your name with your Pazzles machine!  So check out my design below!
My name is the card and my husband's name is the tag! I used the "E" in my name for the tree stump and then created a separate one for his name tag.  Cool, huh??

Off to make a few more....

She and her mother share the same birthday and she returned home last week and we were able to celebrate her birthday on Sunday!  I am really lovin' this stamp set and you will see why in my next post!

November Make It From YOUR Heart Workshop

Are you excited for November?  I am!!  Thanksgiving is a great time to remember our blessings and a perfect opportunity for food AND pictures!!  This month's paper pack pack is Flirty.  I must admit it is not my favorite paper pack but I think I have made it work by combining it with Moonlight and some basic fall colors from the CTMH palette

Here is the layout we will be making and you can change the title to "Thanksgiving" or "Give Thanks" or create your own.

Here is a collage of the designs that are in the layout - you will be learning the technique of 'tissue inking'.
