02/28 Where did February go??

Yikes - It flew by - so much going on and no time to blog. So I will try and play 'catch-up". Enjoy!

Last night I participated in a Relay for Life crop held at Double Branch Elementary School. Here is the "Make'n Take" we made using the Paper Garden paper pack. I didn't like this set when it first came out but a year later it is starting to grow on me! This paper pack is perfect for the March SOM D1341 Butterfly Wings

02/01 Happy February!!!

Wow - what happened to January? Zipped right by me. Today starts the Stamp of the Month for February -it is D1340 Easter Eggs. Look at all of the creative ideas for using this stamp set. Enjoy!

01/25 CD Photo Cube Class

Valentine CD Photo Cube






What a creative use for the CD cases that all of us have accumulated. It doesn't have to be a Valentine's Day theme. I think this would be a great present for a new Father or Grandparent to show off their newest addition! I will be teaching this class at Scraporium on February 7th from 10:00 -12:00 p.m. The cost of the class is $15.00. Call Denise at (813)269-7946 to reserve your spot in the class.

You will need to bring:
Adhesive including a 'red line' tape
Paper trimmer and scoring blade or stylus
Bone Folder
Scissors

The class will include:
4 empty CD's
Paper and stickers to complete the project.


This CD Photo Cube uses a Level 1 Unforgettable paper pack.

1/25 Open House Make-n-Take

If you missed my Open House or live across the country, I have put together the directions for the small project we made. We made an Origami Invitation card with the Emporium papers. It is quite simple to make and you can create all kinds of designs with this basic pattern. Enjoy!

01/25 Team Create and Crop

What a great time we had yesterday at the Tomaino team meeting. I drove 2 1/2 hours in the beautiful Florida sunshine to 'play' all afternoon with my 'team'mates. Here are the cards from the Team Swap. Rules were simply - NEW,NEW,NEW! and that's what we got!

1/11 Emporium Layout

I told you that you might get sick of this paper pack - but I love it! This layout is my take of the cover of the NEW Spring 2009 Idea Book by Close to My Heart. These darling kids are my 'adopted grandchildren'! They are children of one of my former students - aren't they cute?!!
