Valentine CD Photo Cube






What a creative use for the CD cases that all of us have accumulated. It doesn't have to be a Valentine's Day theme. I think this would be a great present for a new Father or Grandparent to show off their newest addition! I will be teaching this class at Scraporium on February 7th from 10:00 -12:00 p.m. The cost of the class is $15.00. Call Denise at (813)269-7946 to reserve your spot in the class.

You will need to bring:
Adhesive including a 'red line' tape
Paper trimmer and scoring blade or stylus
Bone Folder
Scissors

The class will include:
4 empty CD's
Paper and stickers to complete the project.


This CD Photo Cube uses a Level 1 Unforgettable paper pack.

1/25 Open House Make-n-Take

If you missed my Open House or live across the country, I have put together the directions for the small project we made. We made an Origami Invitation card with the Emporium papers. It is quite simple to make and you can create all kinds of designs with this basic pattern. Enjoy!

01/25 Team Create and Crop

What a great time we had yesterday at the Tomaino team meeting. I drove 2 1/2 hours in the beautiful Florida sunshine to 'play' all afternoon with my 'team'mates. Here are the cards from the Team Swap. Rules were simply - NEW,NEW,NEW! and that's what we got!

1/11 Emporium Layout

I told you that you might get sick of this paper pack - but I love it! This layout is my take of the cover of the NEW Spring 2009 Idea Book by Close to My Heart. These darling kids are my 'adopted grandchildren'! They are children of one of my former students - aren't they cute?!! 01/11 What is an Emporium?

I am not sure how Close to My Heart comes up with their names of their new paper packs. I think someone must be trying to educate our vocabulary and increase our success with crossword puzzles! I think of an emporium as a dry goods store with wooden floors and barrels of flour and sugar and bolts of fabric piled on the shelves. So I checked out www.websters.com and found the definition for Emporium.

em⋅po⋅ri⋅um - (1) a large, retail store, esp. one selling a great variety of articles. (2) a place, town, or city if important commerce, esp. a principal center of trade: New York is one of the world's great emporiums.
