04/01 CTMH SOTM Blog Hop

Wow - the crazy weather around the country has all of us wondering if Spring will ever arrive??? To help celebrate this colorful time of year CTMH has a beautiful stamp set for the month of April. If you have been hopping with us, you have arrived from Beth's blog and have checked out her awesome interpretation of this beautiful stamp set.

This month's stamp set is D1455 Blessed

When I first looked at this stamp set, I immediately thought of "doodling" - a technique I learned a few years ago. So I stamped a few of the images onto my cardstock and then grabbed my black marker pen and filled in the blank areas.

I used the Miracle paper pack along with crystal blue, bamboo and sweet leaf to pull my entire design together. I hope you enjoy it!

Now it is off to Traci's blog where I am sure you will find another inspiring technique! Remember this stamp set is only sold in the month of April and you can purchase it here! Still looking for SPRING - how about you???

VERY creative! Love it!

Also, please tell me more about your little glass bird! My grandmother had a small collection of those and sadly, my aunt now has them far far away. I would love to get a few, they remind me of my grandmother.

The bird was purchased by my son at Cracker Barrel over 18 years ago. We had just moved to Florida and he wanted me to be happy... (he was only 10 at the time...)
