04/17 H2H Recycled Coke Can Card

Well I was digging through the recycle bin this weekend and retrieved a Coke can for the Heart 2 Heart Recycle Challenge for this week! I made this card for my husband's co-worker who has been driving him home after work because we are sharing a car with our son (until yesterday!) The first thing I did was cut up the can with a pair of utility scissors.

Then I ran it through the Cuttlebug to emboss the tire image onto the can. I then cut it to fit the card and adhered it down.

Here is the finished card using a retired paper pack called Route 66. the funniest part to all of this is I was actually lying down in the road to take the picture! Only 3 cars drove by..... they were nice enough NOT to run me over...

Adeline, this is the coolest idea that I've seen in a while! I can't believe you can actually run a coke can through your Bug?? And I must say, you went above and beyond to photograph your card! Thanks for playing along with our recycling challenge this week at H2H :o)

Love this! My CB is one of my favorite tools, can't wait to use the metal from a can. Great for a guy card!
