In the spirit of gift giving, I would like to share with everyone some creative ways to use the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.  I am absolutely addicted to Pinterest and it has inspired me to tackle many items that have been hanging around on my "To Do" list! (some of us call it our "Bucket List"!)
 

One of the items on my list was to learn how to do some basic wood working.  When I was teaching in NYS, we had wood shop and I never had the time to learn how to use all of those noisy tools!  So here are a few pics of me operating the circular saw ( I was really nervous...)

Step #1 - Cutting the wood......

But I felt a real sense of accomplishment in cutting these blocks from an old 2 x 4"!
